Did you know that over the course of a year, using a dishwasher could save you over 130 hours, compared to washing by hand! That big pile of dishes building up in the sink can be daunting, but with a dishwasher all you need to do is load your washer and go!
According to the 2008 Intertek UK study, manual dishwashing uses 49L of water for a full load, whereas automatic dishwashers use typically 10L - 14L per wash to clean the same number of dishes. Automatic dishwashing uses up to 80% less water than washing up by hand so can save on your water bills.
The study also showed you could save on your energy bills, because manual dishwashing uses 1.96KWH of energy whereas automatic dishwashers use up to half that amount to complete the same load.
According to the study, items washed in automatic dishwashers using Finish dishwasher tablets emerged up to 19% cleaner than those washed up by hand.
Just doing one load of washing in your day is sure to put a smile on your face! You can gradually fill your dishwasher with the day's plates and cutlery or load it at the end of the day, either way a fully loaded Dishwasher is more energy efficient than hand washing.
A squeaky clean and hygienic sparkle
Dishwashers run at higher temperatures than your hands can withstand, so kill more germs. Leaving you not only with sparkling results, but also the ultimate hygienic clean.
Softer and safer hands
There's no need to dip your hands in and out of soapy water, leaving them dry, chapped and exposed to cuts from broken glassware.
Keep your hands silky smooth and simply load the dishwasher, add FINISH and enjoy The Diamond Standard sparkle.
